Continuum Dynamics, Inc. (CDI) is seeking engineering staff members to support on-going projects in aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, flight vehicle analysis, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Near term needs include modeling of flight vehicle aeromechanics, support of flight simulation, and method development for analysis of air vehicles in complex flow environments and. The positions will initially support established projects, but significant growth potential (i.e., developing and managing individual research and development projects) exists for highly motivated individuals. Willingness and ability to work in diverse technical areas will be an important factor in evaluating candidates. Located in Ewing, NJ, CDI specializes in engineering services and state-of-the-art technical solutions in the fields of unsteady fluid mechanics, aeronautics, thermal hydraulics of piping and power generation systems, wind energy, and solar physics.
Candidates should have a PhD in a related field, preferably including independent research or work experience performed in this area, though a MS/MEng and sufficient experience may be considered. Computer programming experience, numerical methods development and /or interface development in legacy and modern programming languages (e.g. FORTRAN, C and C++) is required; experience developing software for High Performance Computing environments, GPUs or real-time applications is desirable.
